UNWRITTEN AND UNTOLD TALE OF PRIDE

Apart from Edward, family have not been included in any writings.

Mostly because they may or may not appreciate such close scrutiny.

So too, in my book of PEOPLE PLACES PUBS AND DUNNIES, there are few mentions.

One may be forgiven for thinking the loss of Billy meant abondment of other family members.

Not so, if anything it has bouught all closer together as we lead our separate life directions.

My Tale of Pride:

Tristram, Daniel & Edward, albeit in totally contrasting directions.

They all make the Holcombe name very proud everyday, every way.

• Their own men.

• Principally self made.

• Active leadership community contributors.

• Highly ethically respected.

• Family orientated.

• No 'show pony' antics

Who under protest, did get a short mention in the book.

However the mention hardly covers the entirety of talents.

• Mother

• Grandmother

• Homemaker

• Accute health care of passion and caring.

• Active community event organiser and participent.

• Gardener extroadinare

The common theme of Gerda, Tristram, Daniel and Edward is they are all.

• Givers not takers

• Not fence-sitters.

• Community focused.
