As the fading sunset plays with the light.

See the tree, the unique and mighty tree.

It canopy overarches all you see.

Its roots go deep as deep can be.

So deep in the ground that all can’t see.

Tis just a tree, beautiful, bold and free.

A natural seed sown some many years ago.

So small at first it started to grow and grow.

To the living being that we can see and know.

And all the while giving, its gifts to bestow

Tis just a tree, beautiful, bold on show

.

See the tree it’s old and new.

It is a timeless long term view.

Its personal history only known to few.

And it bothers not what others do.

Tis just a tree, living growing shady too.

Sits there independent on its own ground.

Threatens no peace with the grass all round.

It is what it is with its history abound

They can both co-exist that’s what I found.

Tis just a tree with a harmonious sound.
