SHORT STORY ONE:
STORY of JOY:
PLACE WHERE VIBES COLLIDE 6-05-2025
Special is the way energies collide.
Mixing and a swirling deep inside.
That tend to leave a lasting glow.
Depth known to those in the know.
Feel the joy of connection that glows without touch.
Sometimes lasting connection of years in the making.
Taste that lingers long- not permanently visible but never lost.
With unique exclusiveness made special by the privacy of two.
In essence both remote and close, remains in the minds of both.
Simple happy smile of recollection, a precious life experience.
SHORT STORY TWO: “LOIS”
HOPE VERSES FEAR:
Open house, doors not locked, all are welcome to come and go.
The walls adorned of pictures of young an old, in for all.
Where ‘lived in feeling’ combines with pride clean house abode.
Where simple tastes of furnishing, combine with technology abound.
Lois may not be the family head, but her authority reigns supreme.
Happy in her position, all know she is one not to be trifled with.
Getting ready, going out, looking around the family, in themselves.
No fancy clothes, telling younger family, how long she will be gone.
With determined ‘will of purpose’ she heads out through the door.
Arriving to old relative, sad and sitting lonely, biding out his time.
Does her best to bright the room of the overriding dismal gloom.
Full knowing her time, from own family needs cannot be too long.
Lois bids a cheery departure, promising she will return real soon.
Trip home disturbing with her mind running at full speed.
Through the front door the house is just like she never left.
All members still in place barely acknowledging her return.
Haven’t moved or activated, have lost such precious time.
With worry they too, will end all lonely in their own decline.
Lois, Left alone with her mind conflict of hoping and of fear.
